What is a content management system?
The content management software (CMS) is where you download and run your menus and digital content, ours come with support and hosting. Our (CMS) is designed so that in the event of an interruption of Internet service, your content continues to run locally. You only need the Internet for the first installation and for any menu or content updates. Our application runs on Windows, Android, and Apple Media players as well as smart TVs. So you can use your own hardware to run our software.

Do I need the Internet to run my screens?
Our software runs on the local memory of your media player (cache). The only time you will need the Internet is during the initial installation to download the application and run it, and for any updates. The update can also be done via the personal hotspot from a smartphone with a data plan.
How long does the hosting last?
Content Management Software (CMS) and hosting are both lifetime accounts. Once installed, there are no recurring monthly fees or other hidden charges.
What are the zones?
Field is a term that refers to the division of a screen into several sections called fields that can execute the contents independently of the other fields on the same screen (i.e. if there are 8 fields on a screen, then the screen is divided into 8 mini-screens with their own separate contents on the same screen).
How many screens can I add and what is the license fee per screen?
You can add an UNLIMITED number of screens and there is NO license fee. Everything is billed only once as part of a pay-per-use system. Pay once, all our content management and cloud hosting accounts are lifetime accounts.
I don’t want to have to locate my menus every time I turn on the computer. Can all menus load automatically when I turn on the computer?
Yes, there is a setting so that, once turned on, the Content Management Software (CMS) automatically loads your menus as soon as your PC is turned on…every time.
My restaurant’s menu includes 150 items including details, I plan to use a 32″ or 42″ TV, can this work for me?
150 items is way too many for a single menu screen. The font would be too small to be seen from afar. If you are using 1 screen, you will need 5 menus rotating at intervals (each menu allowing 30 items) when using a 42-inch TV. It is NOT recommended to have more than 2 rotating menus per screen, except for pictures, specials and other information or events.
What can I do with my Content Management Software (CMS) account? Is it web-based?
Your content management software account will control all your screens remotely, and you will need one media player per screen. You can add, delete or modify content at will on an unlimited number of screens via the cloud (supplied with each player). You can also program the morning and evening (part of the day) menus.
What are the steps?
It’s all done in 3 easy steps. Step 1: Send us your menus in a Word document. Step 2: Once completed, the review and modifications are made by us until you approve the menus. Step 3: Once approved, we load the media players and ship them directly to your door. You can make the changes yourself or have us make them for you… your choice!
How long does shipping take and what is the turnaround time?
Shipping usually takes between 5 business days to arrive (tracking provided). The design process takes between 3 and 5 business days. Total turnaround time is approximately one week to 10 days.
